BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

Ingredients:


• 2 lbs pork shoulder (pork butt), trimmed of excess fat
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 cup Lorraine's Premium BBQ Sauce Original flavor
• 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• Slider buns
• Coleslaw (optional, for topping)


Instructions:


• Season the pork shoulder with salt and black pepper on all sides.
• In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the pork shoulder on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
• In a mixing bowl, whisk together Lorraine's Premium BBQ Sauce Original flavor, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
• Place the seared pork shoulder in a slow cooker or Instant Pot. Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the pork.
• Cook the pork on low heat for 8 hours in the slow cooker or follow the manufacturer's instructions for cooking time in the Instant Pot (usually about 90 minutes on high pressure).
• Once the pork is cooked and tender, shred it using two forks. Mix the shredded pork with the sauce in the slow cooker or Instant Pot to coat it evenly.
• Toast the slider buns lightly in the oven or on a skillet.
• Assemble the pulled pork sliders by placing a generous portion of the pulled pork on each slider bun. Top with coleslaw if desired.
• Serve the BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders hot as a delicious and satisfying appetizer or meal.
